PREPARING FOR BABY
This is a one-time visit where I will review your registry and may suggest a few items that could ease the postpartum period for parent/s and baby. Next, I will be going over the best way to streamline your nursery/home and talk about safety guidelines. Lastly, I will be educating the parent/s to be about sleep safety and give you mom recovery kit list as well as baby changing station must-haves.

​POSTPARTUM (Day time or Overnight)
  • Phone and email support throughout your postpartum contract: I'm here to answer any questions you may have or just to keep in touch. You may email me at anytime or call me during my office hours.
  • Provide educational information, nourishing companionship and nonjudgmental support.
  • Assistance with newborn care, family adjustments, meal preparations and light household tidying.
  • Provide evidence-based information in regards to infant feeding, emotional/ physical recovery from birth.
  • Aid with soothing infant techniques for new parents and refer out to specialists when necessary. 
  • Provide new parents with restful night's sleep in  these first new months of parenthood.

Once we've made an appointment to meet, I will come over to your house to meet you and your family; we'll discuss how I can assist your family with your unique postpartum needs. This is the prefect opportunity to go over any initial questions or concerns you may have, and see if working with your family would be a good match.

PLACENTA PREPARATIONS
  • Proof that the mother/ birthing woman is free of blood-borne pathogens must be provided prior to accepting to process the placenta/ placentas.
PREPARATIONS:

-    Capsules: Placenta encapsulation is done by dehydrating the placenta, grinding it into a fine powder and placing it into capsules. Each placenta is unique in size and composition, therefore they will usually yield between 100- 130 capsules. The capsules will have storage and dosage instructions and will be ready for drop-off or pick-up within 2-3 days time from when I receive it.

  • Can recover more quickly from childbirth


-    Tincture:
Tinctures take 6 weeks to prepare. The tincture will come in a tinted dropper bottle and have storage/ dosage instructions.  I will contact you once it is ready for drop-off or pick-up.

Benefits of Placenta Tincture
It can help mother with illness, stress, PMS, insomnia, depression, or menopause.



-    Salve: Salves take 2-3 days to prepare and will come in a 8oz jar. The salve will have storage/ dosage instructions and will be ready for drop-off or pick-up within 2-3 days time from when I receive it.
